COMBS Joyce Ann, 55, wife of Randy Combs, passed away Aug 8, 2011. Born in Morehead, she was the daughter of Elbert and Grace Curtis of Morehead. She attended Eastern Kentucky University, where she earned both her Bachelor's and her Masters degrees. She was the Medical Assistant/ Program Director for the Bluegrass Community and Technical College System, as well as a member of Southland Christian Church. Besides her husband and parents, survivors include a son, Kevin Combs, Lexington; a daughter, Carly Combs, also of Lexington; a brother, Clinton (Rita) Curtis, Morehead; a brother-in-law, Kent (Cindy) Combs, Clarks Summit, PA; three nephews, Matthew Curtis, Jordan Combs, and Jonathan Combs; and a niece, Kelley Griffith. Funeral services will be 12:30pm Thu at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd. with burial to follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-12:30pm Thu at the funeral home.
