Andy Combs (April 13, 1926 - October 24, 2011) Mr. Andy Combs born April 13, 1926 departed this life on Monday October 24, 2011 at his residence in Lee County being 85-years, 6-months, and 11-days of age at the time of his passing. Andy was born in Hazard, Ky the son of the late Richmond Combs and the late Melissa Ann Stamper Combs. Andy was also preceded in death by his Wife - Lillie Combs, Daughter In Law - Kathy Combs, Son In Law - Teddy Patrick and Three Sisters - Angeline Combs, Goldie Combs, and Alena Sumnler. Andy was a life-long resident of Perry County with the Exception of the last 15-years he had been living in Beattyville, Ky. Andy worked at the Perry County Courthouse for 24-years. Mr. Andy Combs leaves the following relatives surviving: Son - Zendell Combs & Wife Pam of Hindman, Ky; Daughter - Shirley Reed & Husband James of Beattyville, Ky; Sister - Myrtle Hayes of Hazard, Ky; 10-Grandchildren - Shannon, Sheridan, Spring, Jimmy, Jay, Holly, Dusty, Greg, Raiah and Amy; 6-Great Grandchildren - Jayse, Cadyn, Tyler, Alex, Josh and Lexie, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, and Other Relatives and Friends Survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Andy Combs will be conducted on Thursday October 27, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Church of God Our Savior in Heidelberg, Kentucky with Chris Holiday officiating. The Interment will follow in the Combs Family Cemetery located at Ida May, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Church on Wednesday Evening Starting at 6:00 P.M.
