She and her husband were residents of the Happy community since 1948. She was the daughter of the late Logan Sizemore and the late Jane Sizemore, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Joseph, Sr.; son Jimmy; daughters Mary Magdalene and Ethel; three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann Kotowski and husband Tom; son Chester Joseph, Jr. and wife Pat; sister Ethel Caudill; brother Jefferson Sizemore along with 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19. Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 20 with J.T. Eversole officiating. Entombment will be at Mountain View Memorial Garden in Hazard. ***************************************** Kenneth Jones Kenneth Jones, 61, died Friday, October 14 at his home in London. He was the son of the late Navior Jones and the late Virginia Jones, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Martha Jones. He is survived by his wife, Susan Jones of London; sisters Darleen Fields of Huntington, In., Carlene Bickel of Ft. Wayne, In., Marlene Stevens of Travelers Rest, SC and Rosie Hall of Indiana; brothers James N. Jones of Jeff, William Jones of Huntington, David Jones of Andrews, In., Jerry Jones of Andrews, Danny W. Jones of Huntington and R.B. Jones of Huntington, along with a host of family and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 15 at the Happy Freewill Baptist Church. Services will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday, October 16 with Rodney Smith and Jody Maggard officiating. Interment will be at Scuddy Cemetery in Scuddy, Ky. ****************************************** Margaret Howard Margaret Campbell Howard, 89, died Tuesday, October 11 at the hospice care center in Hazard. She was born on May 23, 1922, the daughter of the late Mack and Susie Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ace Howard; great-grandchildren Katherine and Samuel Moore; along with six brothers and three sisters. She was a member of the Krypton Brethren Church and a resident of Perry County, and enjoyed canning and spending time with her children and family. She is survived by sons Darwin Howard and wife Judy, William Howard and wife Jo Ann, Don Howard and wife Patricia, Dean Howard and wife Lily, Doyle Howard and wife Mona, Albert Howard and wife Vonda, Gary Howard, Ace Howard, Jr. and wife Maribeth, Doran Howard and wife Rhodonna, and Bradley Howard and wife Patricia; daughters Elizabeth Moore and husband Bradley, Sarah Sluss and husband Jim, Helen Bechtold and husband Don and Dani Baker and husband Tim; brother Mack Campbell, Jr. along with 28 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 14 at 11 a.m. at the Krypton Brethren Church with Jim Sluss, Paul Sluss and Nathaniel Collins officiating. Arrangements were handled by Engle-Walker Funeral Home of Hazard. ******************************************* McClellan Hickman, Jr Mr. McClellan Hickman, Jr., 56, departed this life on Monday, October 10 at the Hazard Hospice Care Center. He was born at Jeff, the son of the late McClellan Hickman, Sr. and the late Edna Lorene Francis Hickman, and was also preceded in death by sisters Rose Combs, Hope Grubbs and Mary Jane Combs; brothers Charles Chester Hickman, Andrew Hickman, James Hickman and Danny Joe Hickman. McClellan was a life-long resident of Perry County and a member of the Johnson United Baptist Church at Buckhorn. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hickman of Buckhorn; son James Taylor Hickman and wife Kendra of Buckhorn; daughter Jessie Lorene Hickman and fiancé Cameron of Buckhorn; brothers Troy Hickman of Lawrenceburg, Ky., Paul Hickman of Grapevine and Marshall Hickman of Frankfort; and special grandchildren Jordan, Katelyn, Lucas and Emily. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 14 at 11 a.m. at the Johnson United Baptist Church at Buckhorn with Gary Riley, Calvin Bowling and Bill Gambill officiating. The burial will follow in the Hickman and Allmond Family Cemetery located at Grapevine. Arrangements were handled by Engle-Walker Funeral Home of Hazard. ******************************************** Wayne Feltner Wayne "Junior" Feltner, 89, departed this life on Monday, October 10 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Hardburly, he was the son of the late Edward Feltner and the late Cynthia Grigsby Feltner, and was also preceded in death by brothers William and Harold Feltner, and sister Margie Newman. He was a life-long resident of Perry County and a member of the Wabaco Pentecostal Church, and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Linda Feltner of Hazard; daughters Jama Griffie and husband Renis, Jr. of Hazard and Cena Stacy and husband Charles of Hazard; brothers Eli Feltner and wife Joan of Atlanta, Georgia and Dewey Feltner and wife Shelby of Eolia, Ky; sister Jama Dean Forbes of Acworth, GA; grandchildren Kara Napier, Austin Stacy, Hunter Griffie and Chelsea Stacy, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, October 13 at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home of Hazard with Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. The burial followed in the Jim Grigsby Cemetery located at Lotts Creek. Military Rites were performed by the Hazard Perry County D.A.V. Chapter 64. ********************************************* Anna Winnett Anna Lee Winnett, 71, died Monday, October 10 at the Patty A. Clay Hospital in Richmond. The daughter of the late John and Mazzier Ritchie, she was born on December 1, 1939. She is survived by her husband, Charles Winnett; sons John Winnett , Charles Winnett, Stephen Winnett and Tanner Miller; daughters Billie Johnson and Tabitha Hatcher; sister Jan Woods, along with 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 13 at the Engle Walker Perry County Chapel in Hazard under the direction of the officiating minister, Kendell Combs. Burial took place in at the Clear Fork Cemetery in Lotts Creek. ********************************************** Danny Caudill Danny Kay Caudill, 54, died Sunday, October 9 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of the late Melvin and Kerma Caudill, and was also preceded in death by sons Danny Caudill, Jr. and William Caudill. He is survived by sons Melvin Caudill and fiancée Eunice Feltner of Hazard and Joe Caudill of Columbus, Indiana; daughters Leslie Martin of Scottsburg, Indiana and Catina Caudill of Columbus Indiana; two brothers Charles Caudill of Dwarf and Clonnie Caudill of Busy. Ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 13 at the Engle Walker funeral home on East Main Street in Hazard with Merrill David Collins officiating. Burial was at the Homeplace Cemetery at Ary. ***********************************************
