Pauline FarlerPauline Farler (October 6, 1936 - October 4, 2011) Ms. Pauline Farler born October 6, 1936 departed this life on Tuesday October 4, 2011 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky being 74-years, 11-months, and 28-days of age at the time of her passing. Pauline was born in Perry County the daughter of the late Homer Ashworth and the late Hanna Campbell Ashworth. Pauline was also preceded in death by her Daughter - Susan Ann Farler, Son - Michael Allen Combs, and by One Sister - Peggy Ratliff. Pauline was a life-long resident of Perry County, a Member of the Church of Christ and Enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Gorman Towers. Ms. Pauline Farler leaves the following relatives surviving: Two Sons - Cova Combs, Jr. and wife Anna of Bulan, Ky and Frank Combs of Acup, Ky; One Brother - Frank Ashworth of Happy, Ky; One Sister - Helen McIntosh of Ohio; Seven Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren, and a host of other Relatives and Friends Survive. Funeral Services for Ms. Pauline Farler will be conducted on Friday October 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home on East Main Street with Ed Couch officiating. The Burial will follow in the Blackhawk Cemetery located at Happy, Ky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home on Thursday Evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. Pauline was first married to Cova Combs, Sr s/o Monroe S Combs and Ida Combs. Monroe was the s/o Irvin Combs and Katherine Sumner. Ida Combs was the d/o Bradley Combs and Ollie May Combs. Carter
