Virginia was the wife of James 'Dickey' Reynolds, s/o George Dewey Reynolds and Kate Davidson. Virginia Reynolds (December 29, 1930 - September 27, 2011) Virginia Neel Reynolds, age 80 of North Tazewell, VA died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at her home. Born December 29, 1930 in Gratton, VA, she was a daughter of the late Levi Walker Neel and Ethel Virginia Buchanan Neel. She was a member of the Riverside Community Church at North Tazewell, VA. Mrs. Reynolds was a retired cashier after working for many years with Deskins Supermarkets in Tazewell, VA. Her days were made more comfortable by the kind and compassionate staff of Legacy Hospice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert "Buddy" Neel and one granddaughter, Angela Reynolds. She is survived by her husband, James "Dickey" Reynolds; three daughters, Mary Collins and husband, Jack, and Nancy Herald and husband, Raymond all of Tazewell, VA, and Tammy Lester and husband, Steve of Knoxville, TN; one son, James Walker Reynolds of Asheboro, NC; three sisters, Edna Yates of North Tazewell, VA, Harriett Blessing of Bastian, VA, and Ruth Snapp of Burke's Garden, VA; one brother, Barnes Neel of Tazewell, VA; three grandchildren, Laura Beth Patterson and husband, David; Mandy Newberry and husband, Jamie, and Tyler Lester; three great grandchildren, Braedon Sawyers, Kailee Newberry, and Brihauna Newberry. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Raymond "Buddy" Herald officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
