He was born in Perry County, Kentucky on April 20, 1946 to Matt Combs and Isabelle Fugate Combs. He is survived by his wife: Virgie Mae Combs; children: Danis Martin (Regina) Combs and Diana Carol (Bobby) Goins; brothers: James Combs, Gary Miller and Herald Miller; sisters: Theda Middleton, Ann Miller and Karen Cummins; granddaughters: Kim, Kendra, Karrie, Skye and Madison; great grandsons: Carter and Ilan; great granddaughter: Lexi. Funeral services will be 3:00PM, Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Ricky Smith, Astor Mullins and Burley Ray Combs officiating. Burial will follow at the Combs-Ritchie Cemetery at Ary, Kentucky. Friends may call for visitation at the chapel, Saturday from 6-9PM. I have seen Andrew's father listed as both Matthew and Martin in census records so I am not certain which is correct. His grandfather, Madison or Matthew Combs is the same way. He is listed by both names in records. Anyway Matthew/Madison Combs was married to Isabella Fugate and Madison/Matthew Combs was married to Delila Fugate.
