He was a disabled heavy equipment operator and the son of the late Lewis Morris and the late Laura Morris. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Morris. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Phyllis Morris; daughter Stephanie Smith and husband Jimmy; son Steven Morris and wife Derika; sisters Kimberly Feltner and Judy Brock; brothers BIlly Morris and wife Sheila and Burnis Morris and wife Sally; grandchildren Tiffany Mullins, Tyler Mullins, James Aaron Smith, Emily Morris, Darron Morris, Devon Morris, Chloe Morris, Zane Galloway and Jamerra Prater. Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24 with Masonic Rites at 7 p.m. Services will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25 with Bill Gambill and Paul Couch officiating. Interment will be at New Mt. Zion Church Cemetery at Sixteen Mile Creek. ******************************************** Shirley Turner Enoch Shirley Turner Enoch, 75, of Booneville, formerly of Buckhorn and Erlanger, passed away on Wednesday, May 18 after a 10-year battle with breast cancer. The beloved matriarch of her family, she is survived by sons Edward "Joe" Enoch and wife Sandy and Robert Enoch and wife Monica; grandchildren Joey Enoch, Sabrina Bench and Cyrena Enoch; great-granddaughters Sydney and Avery Bench; sister Elsie Howell and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Visitation was held on Saturday, May 21 at the Booneville Presbyterian Church with a memorial service following. Arrangements were handled by Searcy and Stong Funeral Home of Booneville. ********************************************** Ann Mae Wilson Ann Mae Wilson, 70, of Hazard, died Thursday, May 19 at the Hazard ARH medical center. She was the daughter of the late Robin Riley and the late Hannah Miller Riley, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady B. Wilson; sisters Darcus Engle and Chloe Whitaker; and brothers Houston, Hubert, McKinely, James, Jimmy and Estill Riley. She is survived by sisters Marie Riley and Julie Davidson; brother Joe Riley; brother-in-law Phillip and Ann Wilson; sister-in-law Margaret Riley, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Monday, May 23. Services were held on Tuesday, May 24 with Karen Campbell and Johnny Ambrose officiating. Interment was at Curt Napier Cemetery in Lotts Creek. *********************************************** J. M. Salyers J.M. Salyers, 83, of Bulan, passed away on Friday, May 20 at his home in Bulan. He was a retired school teacher and the son of the late Frank Salyers and the late Carrie Salyers. He was also preceded in death by his bothers, Paul Benton and Frank Salyers, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Omeda Marie Salyers; daughter Sandra Salyers Mullins and husband Chuck; sisters Janice Alexander and Joyce Vires; grandchildren John Tyler Mullins and Hayley Marie Mullins; sisters-in-law Evelyn Combs and husband Raymond and Lucille Benton, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and former students whom he cherished. He was the son of William Naylor and Shirley Naylor, and was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Renee Naylor. He is survived by his daughter, Renee Deaton and husband David; son Jesse Naylor and Alicia Turner; grandchildren Kailyn, Haleigh and Taylor Deaton. He is also survived by Shannon Stidham. She was the daughter of the late Frank Rice and the late Fannie Rice, and the wife of the late John Lee Wells, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Denise Wells Short; son Joel Mark Wells; and brothers Everett, Clark, Jay, Ricky and Carlos Rice. She is survived by daughters Tammie Wells Shockey, Barbara Hall, Christina Pelfrey, Valarie McIntyre, Pamela Brewer, Della Marie Ritchie and Aundrea L. Cole; sons John Lee Wells, Jr., Bobby Gerald Wells, Timothy Wells, Dickie L. Wells and Eric Wells; sisters Nadine Roark, Jewell Smith, and Karen Whalen; brothers Wade Rice, Ronnie Rice and Ray Rice; and other family members Dickie Rasnick, Cindy Hubble, Ursula Turner, Myra Johnson and Carla Widener. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was the son of the late Estill Miller and the late Dosha Miller. He is survived by his wife, Connie L. Miller; daughter Dosha Lynn Miller; son Billy Dwayne Miller; sisters Ruth Stewart and Barbara Jent; aunts Deloris Combs and Sally Miller; nephews Shawn Noble, Roy Junior Noble, Danny Wayne Noble and Joseph Stewart; nieces Jessica Lynn Noble and Courtney Clemons; great-nephews Johnathan Akemon and Skyler Daniel and great-nieces Kelsey Daniel, Brittany Daniel and Brooklyn Little. She was the manager of Handy Dan's in Hazard and the daughter of Elmer Godsey and the late Bertha Godsey. She is also survived by her husband, Benjamin Ritchie; daughter Heather Sebastian and husband Steve; son Ben Ritchie III and Amanda Miller; sisters Wilma Gross, Anitta Ritchie, Linda Faye Combs and Wanda Howard; brother Larry Godsey; mother-in-law Louvenia Stone; and grandchildren Josh, Caiden, Kyra, Tristen, Ben and Autumn. Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 19. Services will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 20 with Joe Asher officiating. He was the son of the late Gran White and the late Martha White, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Nellie Smith, and brother Ary White. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae White; daughters Brenda White and husband Bob, Deborah Hamblin and husband Amos, Lisa Combs and husband Joe and Tammie Holland and husband Larry; grandchildren Miranda Holland, Olivia Holland and Jeanie Swiney and husband Shawn; great-grandchild Noah Swiney and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
