The annotation for the 1870 Perry County census (at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kyperry3/1870perrycensusmaggardprct.html) states Abby is the d/o Martin & Sarah Hall Couch, but I'd say she's considerably too young to be their daughter (Abby was b abt 1846, Martin & Sarah in 1784 & 1785, respectively). Do you have her as d/o someone else, perhaps as Martin & Sarah's granddaughter?
