JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON DOVIE GREENE FROM THE COLUMBUS (OH) DISPATCH 6/25/08 Dovie Higgins Greene entered into eternal rest June 22, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Vicco, KY on September 29, 1921. Following her move to Columbus, OH she joined Trinity Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James H. Greene, parents Leslie Higgins and Lucinda Higgins Combs, step-father Floyd Combs, 13 brothers and sisters. She leaves to mourn, a sister, Nadine D. (Samuel) Combs Wade; sisters-in-law, Louise Combs, Marietta Higgins and Shirley Higgins; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. June 26, 2008 at the Trinity Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Victor M. Davis, Officiant. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
