JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON ROBERT BAKER FROM THE PREBLE COUNTY (OH) REGISTER-HERALD 6/4/08 Robert L. Baker, 66, of Richmond, IN died May 25, 2008, at his home. Born May 27, 1941, in Hazard, KY, he was the son of Cecil and Amanda (Cottrell) Baker. He served in the U.S. Army during the late 1950s. Mr. Baker was a painter for Sheller Globe in Union City, IN for 23 years, and had worked on the maintenance crew at Wal-Mart in Richmond for five years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 43 years, Helen Mae Baker in 2006; grandson, Seth M. Baker in 2000; brother, Ray Baker in 2007; sister, Maryann Kelley; and brother-in-law, Greg Stapleton. Survivors include his children and spouses, Robert L. and Cristi Baker of Winchester, IN, Tina L. and William Luker of Richmond, IN, Deana H. and David Brake of Georgetown, KY, Mike Baker of Eaton, OH, and Rodney L. Baker of New Castle, IN; brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby Joe and Marlinda Baker of Hamilton, OH, and Dale Baker of New Castle, IN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maxine and Wally Campbell of Dayton, OH, Ka! thy and Bob Meyers of Middletown, OH, Norma Gene Stapleton of Eaton, OH, and Ima Gene and Dave Nickel of Camden, OH; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were May 30, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg, OH, with Pastor Mike Holman officiating. Burial, with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard, was in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
