My dad grow up in the Leatherwood. His dad was Silas (Sie) Shepherd. His parents were Elhannon (Hans) Shepherd and Sarah Couch. Sarah Couch parents was Anderson (Ance) Couch and John Couch, Jr. and Sarah Shepherd. My grandpa had a brothers named Ance and Green Shepherd. He had three sisters.
