Ms. Ruth Combs born November 4, 1925 departed this life on Friday February 25, 2011 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 85-years, 3-months, and 21-days of age at the time of her passing. Ruth was born in Combs, ky the daughter of the late Emmanuel Combs and the late Mollie Napier combs. Ruth was also preceded in death by three brothers - E.M. Combs, Jr., Paul Combs and Don Combs, two sisters - Thelma Combs and Dorothy Gute. Ms. Ruth Combs leaves the following relatives surviving: sister - Ann Combs Eversole of Hazard, Ky and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives and friends survive. Funeral services for Ms. Ruth Combs will be conducted on Sunday February 27, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home on East Main Street with the Rev. Daryl Cornett officiating; the interment will follow in the Combs Cemetery located at Combs, Ky; the visitation will be on sunday at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home from 2:00 till 3:00 p.m.
