Dick O. Combs February 12, 1932 - March 17, 2012 Mr. Dick O. Combs, age 80 of Conyers (recently of Smyrna), died peacefully after a short illness March 17, 2012. He is survived by daughter, Cathi and Allan Repetto, Conyers; son, Steven and Dawn Combs, Helena, AL; grandchildren, Dylan Repetto, Conyers, and Jon Michael Combs, Helena, AL; former wife, Patricia Combs, Conyers; brother, Ira and Eleanor Combs; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Mr. Combs proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, seeing action in both Korea and Viet Nam. He went on to retire from a 2nd career with Delta Airlines. Dick will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his kind nature, quick laugh, pride in his grandsons, and love of baseball. There will be no services.
