She is the daughter of the late Iran Cornett and the late Retta Combs Cornett. She is also preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Combs. Mrs. Combs was a retired Dilce Combs School Teacher. She is survived by one brother: Lowell (Violet) Cornett and a host of family & friends. Her mother was Euretta Combs, d/o Rev Watson G Combs and Lodicia Pigman. Odd that her daughter was not mentioned in the obit as she was in Marvin Combs obit. Carter Marvin Combs Marvin Combs, 81, of Jeff, died Friday, September 30, 2005 at the Hazard Medical Center. He was the son of the late Floyd H. Combs and Nora Mullins Combs. He is survived by his wife, Beuledith "Billie" Combs of Jeff; 1 daughter, Teresa Lane Collins of Jeff; 1 granddaughter, Holli Combs. Funeral was conducted Sunday, October 2, 2005 at the Little Dove Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon and David Smith officiating, burial in the Samp Combs Cemetery in Acup. Maggard Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
