JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON ROY SIZEMORE FROM THE HAMILTON (OH) JOURNAL-NEWS 5/17/08 Roy "Doug" Sizemore, age 59, of Mixerville, IN passed away May 15, 2008 at McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, OH. He was born January 26, 1949 in Perry County, KY, the son of Roy and Goldie (Fields) Sizemore. On April 13, 1968 he married Judy Franklin and they enjoyed 40 wonderful years together. Doug had retired after being a self employed truck driver for many years. He enjoyed working on muscle cars spending time with his nieces and nephews and was a devoted and faithful member of the Somerville Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife Judy of Mixerville, IN; his parents Roy and Goldie Sizemore of Hazard, KY; one brother, Curt (Beverly) Sizemore of Mixerville; five sisters, Nora (Bruce) George of Mixerville, Barbara (Tony) McIntosh of Oxford, OH, Marilyn (Clint) Staton of Irvine, KY, Shirley (Darral) McQuinn of Hazard, KY; Joy (Earl) Allen also of Hazard; one brother and sister-in-law, Darrell (Diane)Franklin of Morrow, OH, many nieces, nephews, aunts, unc! les, cousins, friends and his church family. Visitation will be held May 18, 2008 from 4-7:00pm at the Smith & Ogle Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 on May 19, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the College Corner Cemetery, West College Corner, IN. Condolences may be made at www.smithoglefuneralhome.com He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Hallie Sizemore, Tug and Nora Fields; a nephew Anthony Sizemore and in-laws, Glen and Ruby Franklin. Memorial donations may be made to the Somerville Pentecostal Church restoration fund. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. James Thomson and his staff as well as the nurses and staff at McCullough Hyde Hospital for the kindness and care they gave to Doug.
