Margaret Prewitt Stone Combs, 86, of Clark County died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. She was born in Estill County, the daughter of the late Berry Lee and Dulah Barnett Stone and the widow of Elmer Y. Combs (married 57 years), all of Clark County. She is survived by two daughters, Elma Rowena Combs (Benjamin Stephens) and Rovena Gail Combs, one sister Phyllis Lo-Dine Stone Hampton (Eugene Hampton) and was preceded in death by one sister Mary Mildred Stone Nugent, all of Clark County. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She is survived by a step-grandson Kevin M. Stephens and six step-great-grandchildren (Traci, Lainie, Mason, Henry, Kayden and Kameron Stephens) all of Woodford County. She graduated from Trapp High School and attended Fugazzi Business College. She assisted her husband in his sign business for over 40 years. She loved gardening and the outdoors. She enjoyed helping her family, neighbors and especially children. Her love of God and her belief in The Ten Commandments were the foundation for living a life of strong faith. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Scobee Funeral Home, Winchester. The funeral will be Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, followed by burial at the Dulah Barnett and Berry Lee Stone Family Cemetery, Lilly's Ferry Road. Pall-bearers will be Ben Stephens, Aaron Cruse, Lee Cruse III , Dale Raney, Elmer Gene Tolson, and Ronnie Williams. Honorary pall-bearers: Wendall and Karen Willoughby, Tim and Martha Osborne, Mike and Jean Snowden, Jerry and Bonnie Snowden, Paul Spicer, Bear Shifflett, Alvin Earl and Darlene Johnson, Opal Buckland, Lois Snowden, Lula Mae Puckett and her nieces, nephews and cousins.
