The daughter of the late Chloe Workman and William Henry Combs was born on January 30, 1921, at Combs, Kentucky. At the time of her death, she was 86 years of age. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Frances Spencer. Mrs. Combs is survived by her son, Robert Spencer of Combs as well as her two daughters, Julia Spencer of Hazard and Ollie Combs of Conover, North Carolina. The grandmother of 6, great-grandmother of 10 and great-great-grandmother of 6 is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services were conducted on Monday, August 13 at 1:00 pm at the Riverside Cemetery, Hazard, with the Rev. Dan Griffiths officiating.
