STANFORD - Shirley Combs Davis, 74, of Lancaster died Fri at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born Oct 17, 1936 in Allock, Perry County, KY, to the late Matt and Clercy Turner Combs. She was a homemaker and a member of Pentecostal Fellowship Church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Clay Davis of Lancaster. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Stanford. Funeral service will be 1pm Tue at the funeral home. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Memorials in Lieu of flowers may be given to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Gideon's Bibles Intl. Father, Matthew Combs, was the s/o William Combs and Martha J Combs.
