Spencer F. Godsey, age 58, of Hazard, Kentucky, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at his home. He was born in Perry County, Kentucky on February 7, 1953 to Paul Godsey and Gladys Fugate Godsey. He is survived by a special friend: Elaine Gayheart; mother: Gladys Godsey; son: Andy Price; daughter: April Godsey; brothers: Dickie, Harold Gene, Elmer Clay and Delbert Godsey; sister: Hilda Stacy. Funeral services will be 1PM, Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Merle David Collins and Tim Stacy officiating. Burial will follow at the Fugate Cemetery at Ary, Kentucky. Friends may call for visitation at the chapel, Saturday from 6-9 PM.
