Edith (Combs) Clark NEW ALBANY - Clark, Edith (Combs), 94, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011. She was born in Viper, KY, the daughter of Robert and Katie Combs. Edith's husband, Edward, and siblings, Pearl Noffsinger, Anna Lee Eaker and Kenneth Combs predeceased her. She taught school for several years in eastern Kentucky, moved to Louisville and met her future husband. Together, they made their home in Valley Station, KY. The family would like to thank caregivers, Linda and Danny Clark, of New Albany, for the love and care given for the past three years and also Emmett and Agnes Beams for their help while she lived in Valley Station. She is survived by her brother, Ewell Combs (Barbara) and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with final resting place in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. Friday until the time of service.
