JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON RUBY BURDEN FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 4/18/08 Ruby (Gabbard) Burden, 85, of Lebanon, OH passed April 17, 2008 at Lebanon Country Manor. Born November 29, 1922 in Perry County, KY, the daughter of Belvin and Mary Alice (Bashaw) Gabbard, she had lived in the Lebanon area for nearly fifty years. A loving and devoted mother and wife, she was a former member of the Lebanon Nazarene Church. Preceded in death by dear husband Adrian Burden, her parents, and brother Jessie Gabbard, she is survived by her daughter Sherri Lynn Moore of Lebanon, OH, brother Hobert Gabbard of KY, Estill Gabbard of Lebanon, OH, half brother Arthur McCarty of KY, and half sister Bessie Mae McCarty of Lebanon, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of other dear family members and friends. Visitation April 19, 2008 from 11-12:00noon with funeral service following all at Stine-Kilburn FH Lebanon with burial in the Lebanon Cemetery. The family expresses sincere appreciation to the staff of the Lebanon Country Manor for the loving care g! iven to Ruby for the past several years.
