Mr. Combs was a member of Freetown Pentecostal Church. He was employed with Seymour Manufacturing for many years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, going out on his boat, throwing horse shoes and cornhole. Born Aug. 1, 1950, in Hazard, Ky., he was the son of Herman Combs and Marie (Brewer) Combs. On May 22, 1971, in Seymour, he married Addie Ramona Anderson. Mr. Combs loved his family and will be greatly missed by his wife, Ramona; his mother; his boys and their families, Anthony (Michelle) Combs Jr., Andrew (Susan) Combs, Mark Allen Combs and Daniel (Amy) Combs; grandchildren, Raymond, Bryce, Claire, Kristen, Merrek, Alisen and Hunter; brother, Jasper Combs; and sisters, Stella (Damon) Anderon and Vanessa Lynn Burke. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Elijah Combs. The Pastor Tim Brown will conduct a graveside service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery. There will be a Voss dove release following the committal service. Memorials may be given to stomach cancer research. A complete obituary may be viewed on the funeral home Website at www.vossfuneralservice.com. Father, Herman Combs was the s/o Frank Combs and Parthenia Combs. Frank was the s/o Hiram Combs and Mary Jane Grigsby. Parthenia was the d/o Richard Nicholas Combs and Elizabeth "Betsy" Young.
