Richard Combs (June 1, 1931 - April 20, 2012) Richard Combs born June 1, 1931 departed this life on Friday April 20, 2012 at his residence in Hazard, KY being 80-years, 10-months, and 19-days of age at the time of his passing. Richard was born in Perry County the son of the late John Combs and the late Polly Sizemore Combs. Richard was also preceded in death by Two Brothers - Willie and Robert Combs, and Three Sisters - Isabelle Sizemore, Ellie Combs and Melda Combs. Richard was a life-long resident of Perry County and was a Member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mr. Richard Combs leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife - Doris Jean Combs of Hazard, KY; Four Sons - Richard, Jr. Combs & wife Tammy of Winchester, KY, Billy Wayne Combs & wife Elisha of George's Branch, John Combs & wife Vanessa of Hiner, KY and Eddie Combs & wife Crystal of Hiner, KY; One Daughter - Tammy Neace & husband Clarence of Hiner, KY; 11-Grandchildren and 1-Great Grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Richard Combs will be conducted on Tuesday April 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on East Main Street with Willie Wagers officiating. The Interment will follow in the Eversole Cemetery located at Lower Second Creek. The Visitation will be on Monday Evening at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. The father, John Combs was the s/o Jackson Combs and Nancy Francis. Jackson was the s/o Henry Combs and Evolina Combs.
