She was the daughter of the late George Samons and the late Frances Samons. She is also preceded in death by her husband: Kendrick Combs; two brothers: Walter Samons & Bascum Samons and three sisters: Verlie Newman, Leda Osborne & Mary North. She is survived by two sons: Greg (Mary) Combs & Craig Combs; three sisters: Evelyn (Bob) Love, Imogene (Charles) Hamilton & Velva Todd; one brother: James Samons; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Kendrick was the s/o Howard Combs and Betty Pennington. Howard was the s/o Green Combs and Susannah Combs. Howard was the s/o Massingale Martin Combs, Jr and Anna Williams.
