Fields/Fanny Mays marriage. The person referred to as Hiram, married to Fanny Mays, is actually Lansford Fields, a brother to Davis Fields. There is a possiblility that Lansfords name could have been Hiram Lansford, as family seemed to use their middle names quite often! However, all records in NC are under the name Lansford. Anyone interested in Hiram & Polly Young Fields, may contact me, as I have researched this family a lot,with lots of documents, and also visit with descendents that live in NW AR, where I also reside. Have not made a connection to my Lansford Fields line, but there is a strong possibility, that the grandfather, John Fields, was a brother to Davis & Lansford.
