Sue, Christopher "Kit" Sizemore, s/o Edward "Ned" Sizemore & Louanna Bolling, married Catherine ?Sizemore?, b abt 1810 [“The Sizemore Family,” Malvery Roberts Begley & Linda Sibley, Clay County Ancestral News, Vol. 9#2, Jun 1993]. I don't know if Catherine was actually a Sizemore before her marriage. Phyllis Sizemore Hefelfinger has done some research on this family and posted information to the Sizemore board at RootsWeb, regarding her research and suppositions. She thinks Catherine may have been a Smith before marriage. A marriage for a Christopher Sizemore is recorded for 24 May 1832, according to Perry Co KY Marriage Book A (the bride's name is missing). Some have recorded Christopher's death as 1853 in Floyd Co KY, but Catherine is listed in the 1840 census with no male of adult age with her and the children. I don't find Christopher anywhere else, so am wondering what basis there is for that 1853 death date.
