In the 1900 census they are shown as William P. Young (born 1855 or 1858 or 1863), Margaret (Caudill) Young (born around 1865), and their children Ira Young, Ida Young, Allis (Alice) and Pearlla/Pearlie. Ida goes on to marry Joe Hall, and Alice later marries Riley Sturgill. Ira adopts the name James Ira Young and marries Julie/Julia Campbell in 1906 and this is the line my husband descends from. My biggest challenge is to find out who William P. Young's PARENTS were. My best guess is Thomas and Lucinda Young (see 1860 census) but have no way to prove the link.
