JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON CLAUDE SHIPLEY FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 1/1/08 Claude Shipley 67, of Carlisle, OH passed away December 28, 2007 at the V. A. Hospital in Dayton. An Army Veteran, he was born in Allock, KY, the son of Claude Sr. and Hazel (Spencer) Shipley. Claude was a singer and drummer playing in several bands. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Sr., and a brother, James Earl Shipley. Claude is survived by his son Shane Trever Shipley, of Ringgold, GA; his mother, Hazel Shipley of Carlisle, OH, a sister Anne (Larry) Clemmons, of Springboro, OH; a grandson, Trever Allen Shipley, and numerous other family members. Funeral services will be January 3, 2008 at 1: 30 pm, at the Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St. Springboro. Visitation will be January 2, 2008 5 - 7 pm at the funeral home.
