JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON IRENE YANCEY FROM THE LEBANON (OH) WESTERN STAR 1/10/08 Irene (Mays) Yancey, Age 73 of South Lebanon, OH passed peacefully January 4, 2008 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born March 11, 1934 in Hazard, KY, she was the daughter of Floyd and Bertie (Brandenburg) Mays and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Carl and Ernest Mays; and one sister, Mildred Phipps; she is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Yancey of South Lebanon, OH; four children: daughters Delores (Forest) Weddington (Tony Williams) and Christine Brown all of Loveland, OH; sons, Michael (Rebecca) Yancey of Middletown, OH and Christopher (Tina) Yancey of Franklin, OH; one sister, Ruth Stidham of Lexington, KY; 12 grandchildren, Teresa (Brian) Hughes, Lisa DesJarlais, Sandy Hacker, Dale Allen, Michelle Weddington, Michael (Andrea) Weddington, Kristy Yancey, Ryan Yancey, Jessica Yancey, Aaron Yancey, Joshua Yancey and Jason (Jerilyn) Brown; 12 great grandchildren, Dustin Ozzie Hughes, C! hristopher DesJarlais, Corey DesJarlais, Ashlee Hacker, A.J. Hacker, Jami Clark, Averie Brown, Aubrie Brown, Nikolas Cabrera, Kelcee Cabrera, Johnathon Stetkar and Keely McCarter. Funeral services were held January 9, 2008 at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home with Reverend Harold Boggs officiating. Burial was in the Deerfield Cemetery in South Lebanon, OH.
