JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON JAKE DEHART FROM THE BROWN COUNTY (OH) NEWS-DEMOCRAT 3/26/08 Jake DeHart, 88, of Wallingford, KY, formerly of Buford, died March 25, 2006 in Georgetown, OH. He was a World War II Army veteran, receiving five Bronze Stars, worked 30 years at General Motors in Dayton and was a member of Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church. Mr. DeHart was born October 31, 1919 in Viper, KY, the son of the late Abraham and Anner Smith DeHart. He was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters, William DeHart, Edward DeHart, Millard DeHart, Ralph DeHart, Andrew DeHart, Sherman DeHart, Branson DeHart, Caleb DeHart, Oma Hamilton and Mary DeHart; one grandson and one great-granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Omega Fields DeHart of Wallingford, KY; six daughters and two sons-in-law, Jeanette Bowling of Decatur, Hazel and Larry Hartsock of Dayton, OH, Sharon Couch of Lake Waynoka, Vivian Strong of Sabina, OH, Teresa and Jeff Vance of Springfield, IL, and Jaqueline Smith of Sardinia, OH; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert Charles and Lori DeHart! of Buford, Lloyd and Donna DeHart of Williamsburg and Calvin DeHart of Sardinia; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. March 27, 2008 at Megie Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, OH and 10 a.m. to noon March 28, 2008 at Bible Baptist Church in Sardinia, OH. Services: 12 p.m. March 28, 2008 at Bible Baptist Church in Sardinia. Burial: Buford Cemetery.
