He was born on April 11, 1925, in Hazard, Ky., and lived in the Middletown area since 1954. Mr. Bartlett served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Bradford. He was employed as a steelworker at Armco Steel Mill for 33 years before retiring in 1987. He was a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva Young and Emma Cleva Bartlett; four brothers, Clarence, Ralph, Everett and Kyle Bartlett; and a sister, Florine Adkins He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Fay J. Bartlett; a son, John E. (Stephanie nee: Greco) Bartlett of Loveland, Ohio; a daughter, Dianne (Perry) Neill of Monroe, Ohio; grandchildren Bryan (Stacy) Neill, Adam Neill, Stephen E. Bartlett, Christopher J. Bartlett, and Nicole S. Bartlett; and two brothers, Cecil Bartlett and Howard Bartlett. ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Baker-Stevens Funeral Home in Middletown. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242
