Collins Dottie F. Collins, 67, of Middletown, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at Mount Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Dwarf, [Perry County], Ky., on May 29, 1936, to parents John and Fayma M. Combs. Mrs. Collins served her country in the U.S. Air Force. She worked for McDonald’s at both the Monroe and Verity Parkway restaurants. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, all sports, gardening, and flowers. Dottie is survived by her husband, Frank Collins; a daughter, Angie (Doug) Whiteman of Middletown, Ohio; two sons, Donald Martinez of Xenia, Ohio, and Kanani “Chopper” (Angie) Whaley of Middletown; three sisters, Molly Lakes of Monroe, Ohio, Atha (Ray) Powell of Waynesville, and Kathy Coulter of West Carrollton; two brothers, Desmond (Linda) Combs of Hamilton, and Charles (Lynn) Combs of Middletown; and seven grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Adam, and Logan Whaley, and Taylor, Hunter, and Mason Whiteman. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lillian Brooks; and an infant daughter, Angela Whaley. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 25, at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Drive, with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
