Born in Bonnyman, [Perry County], Ky., on Feb. 22, 1922, she is the daughter of the late Otis and Hattie (Morris) Stout. On May 10, 1941, in Buckhorn, Ky., Mary married her husband of over 53 years, M. Oakley Wooton, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1995. She was a member of the Ladies of Hamilton Shrine, Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Templar No. 41, and the Senior Citizens. Mary is survived by her son, M.C. “Mick” Wooton, and his wife, Cokey, of Trenton; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Judith A. Wooton; two sisters, Flora Schmidt and Ethel Lange; and a brother, Ford Stout. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2004, with Chaplain Stan Gockel officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff of Mount Pleasant Nursing Facility and the caregivers of Hospice of Cincinnati. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorial contributions to the Mount Pleasant Perpetual Life Fund, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe, Ohio 45050; or to Hospice of Cincinnati at Blue Ash, 4310 Cooper Road, Blue Ash, Ohio 45242.
