Hi Everyone, I started transcribing the 1920 Knott Co census way back last year or so. I completed about 3 districts, and now I find that there is no way I can get back to transcribing it again at least for another year. And now I'm feeling bad leaving it incomplete. I would like to have a dedicated volunteer that has a good knowledge of the people of Knott Co to finish it. I'll give all the help I can and even put it on line for them if they want. I was using MS Works, and have a template already made up, so it would help me if they had that program. If I do recieve more than one volunteer, then maybe they can do certain precincts. Or I can pull a volunteer out of thre hat?? Lynda
Hey, Lynda - Ben & I would be happy to volunteer for the transcribing. When he was a kid in Perry Co., had a lot of family in Knott, so he should know most of the names there. We would need you to send the census sheets and templates, we could transcribe and then depend on you to put it on line. Or, if you get a lot of volunteers, we can do whatever needs to be done.
