He made his appearance shortly after the report of a shooting having taken place, in which Steve Standafer, age 35, married, leaving a wife and five children to mourn his loss, was almost instantly killed. The shooting took place in Stacey's store. Stacey wanted a speedy hearing and had three persons, who were present at the time of the shooting, summoned. The preliminary trial will be held today (Thursday) too late for this issue. Freddie
