Bowling Ida B. Bowling, age 87, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Friday, February 13, 2004 at U.C. Medical Center in Cincinnati. Ida was born to the late Letcher & Helen (Baker) Strong in Hazard, Kentucky on March 27, 1916. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, and was a Seamstress with Elder Beermans for 21 years. Ida is survived by a son, Obra (& Shirley) Pigman of Fairfield; two daughters: Erna (& Russell) Johnson, and Imogene (& Willis) Allen, all of Hamilton; a brother, Letcher Strong of Iowa; eight grandchildren; & thirteen great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Clarence & Luther Strong; two sisters: Lula Seals, and Juanita Hall; and a grandson: Randy Smith. Friends may call from 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2004, at the Kowalk Funeral Home in Hamilton. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Wurzelbacher officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
