His father was Elihu (Elehue, is how it appears in the 1880 census) Couch. Recently I began looking for the parents of Mary Jane as well, and also heard her father's name may have been Calvin. I placed a Calvin Stacy, 30 yrs old in the 1880 Allen, Owsley, KY census. Could this be him? A Mary Jane is listed with him, she is 9 yrs in 1880. There is also a Mary Jane Stacy in Perry Co., KY, in the household of Anderson Stacy, although she is 2 yrs at the time of the census. I may be related to the Stacy's through another line as well. I would greatly appreciate any information that could aid me in this search.
