[Hazard Herald 9 May 1912, page 3 - Transcribed by Freddie Wilson] STACY-BRASHEAR - At the residence of R. C. Baker, on Wednesday evening, 8th inst., Mr. Wm. Harvey Brashear was happily united in marriage to Miss Alpha Stacy, Rev. M. A. Petrey, officiating. Mr. Brashear is an industrious Perry county boy, and has many friends who wish for him and his lovely bride a prosperous and happy life. There cannot be too much said in praise for Alpha, for she is loved and admired by all who know her - kind-hearted and pleasing to everyone. She has lived with Mr. and Mrs. Baker almost from infancy, seeming as one of the family, and will be greatly missed by them. The Herald force joins in best wishes for the welfare of the couple; that they live long and prosper.
