Sounds like Rootsweb wants to lose business. haha I've seen alot of lists that "seemed" so dead, so this might be why they appear that way. I also belong to the Franklin Co list and the subject line doesn't even mention Franklin County. No telln' how many of those I've deleted because I thought maybe it was spam. Lynda
I know it makes for a lot more mail, but I would prefer to see all the responses, unless the writer specifically requests to have "privately e-mailed" responses. I learn a lot from reading about how others solve genealogical problems, and sometimes recognize a name or place mentioned that fits in my research as well.
