I think I have corresponded with you before, but maybe I haven't asked you this question. You have been talking about the children of Sarah Adams and John Maggard. DId they have a son Gilbert Maggard who was married to Mary Morgan. If so, did they (Gilbert and Mary) have a daughter, Elizabeth, who married John Henry Campbell? Just in the past few months, I have discovered what I think was a major mistake in my records. I'm pretty sure I have the wrong parents for Elizabeth. Yes; Elizabeth Maggard married John Henry Campbell and she was the daughter of Gilbert Maggard and Nancy Morgan. Gilbert Maggard was born 18 September 1837 s/o of John Maggard and Sarah Adams. Nancy Morgan was born 16 October 1837 d/o Jesse Morgan and Rebecca Howard. Both Gilbert and Nancy are buried in the Short Cemetery, Herd, Jackson County, KY.
