JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON SYLVESTER ADAMS FROM THE DAYTON (OH) DAILY NEWS 11/20/07 Sylvester Adams departed this life to be with King Jesus on November 14, 2007. He was born on August 10, 1937 to Clarence and Tina Adams in Hazard, KY. He was a dedicated member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized in 1985. He served as an Usher, on the Feeding Program, and as a Missionary. He was ordained a Deacon of the Church on December 14, 2002. He was Honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1958. He retired from Chrysler in 1998. He is preceded in death by both parents. He leaves to cherish his love a devoted wife, Joyce, great grandson, Derrick Daniels whom he loved, sister, Ann (Alex) Chatman of Washington, PA, brother, Ben Adams, New York, NY, his daughters, Sylvia, Gail, Tina, Jacqueline, and Sheral Adams, all of Dayton, OH, (14) grandchildren, (10) great grandchildren, (3) stepchildren, a special brother-in-law, Jerry (Mary) Mack, Pulaski, TN, plus a host of other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service, 11:00 AM, November 21, 2007 at Zi! on Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1900 W. Third St., with Pastor Junior F. Greenlee officiating. Interment: Dayton National Cemetery. Viewing 9:00 AM until time of service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church. Ceremonies entrusted to McLIN FUNERAL CHAPEL/NORTHERN HILLS, 2801 N.
