ROGERS Geneva H. Rogers, age 66, of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at 8:15 a.m. She was born in Typo, [Perry County], Kentucky, on July 26, 1937, the daughter of Bige and Alice (Hamblin) Baker. A homemaker, Geneva was a loving mother and loving mamaw. On May 24, 1969, in Yerkes, Kentucky, she married Virgil L. Rogers, who passed away on August 2, 1988. She is survived by two sons, Warren Rogers and his wife Doris and Paul Rogers, all of Hamilton; four daughters, Paula Rogers and Alice Rogers, both of Hamilton, Linda Johnson and her husband Tommy of Grapevine, Kentucky and Brenda Ellis and her husband Johnny of Jackson, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Rodney, Jennifer and Warren; two great-grandchildren, Nick and Ashley; and a brother, Warren Baker and his wife Betty of Busy, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Chuck Rogers; a brother, Eugene Baker; and a grandson, Scott Campbell. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, July 3, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
