Mrs. Childers was born in Hazard, KY on January 1, 1934. She was a devoted Christian & was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kacee Childers; brother, Hershel Jones and her parents, Willie and Peggy Jones. Survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Will; daughters & sons-in-law, Audrey and Dan Leonard of Dayton, Peggy and David Sherman of Ansonia, OH, Christeen & Doug Max of Brookville, OH; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie & Jackie of Lynden, WA, Donnie & Marcy of New Carlisle, OH, Joe & Angie of Dayton; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Patterson & Martha Combs & numerous other relatives & friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. October 26, 2007 at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel", 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Interment Royal Oak Cemetery, Brookville, OH.
