JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON OMA TURNER FROM THE HAMILTON (OH) JOURNAL-NEWS 10/22/07 Oma Lewis Turner, Age 53, of New Miami, OH died peacefully October 20, 2007 at her home. She was born in Perry County, KY on April 2, 1954, the daughter of Henry and Thelma (Birchum) Lewis. She is survived by her father, Henry Lewis, Hyden, KY; two daughters, Lesley Roberts (Wes Irvin) and Pamela Garcia (Jose); one son, Christopher North; two granddaughters, Courtney Estep and Savannah Combs; one grandson, Casey Estep and her loving companion, James Rutherford, all of Hamilton, OH. She is also survived by three brothers; Jimmie Lewis (Betty), Levi Lewis (Lois) and Garrett Lewis; four sisters; Pauline Smead (Allen), JoAnn Palumbo (Bill), Mary Baker, all of Hyden and Bonnie McDaniel (Johnny), of Hazard, KY and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Rufus Lewis. Funeral Services will be held October 25, 2007 at 1p.m. at her father's home in Hyden, KY. Burial will be in the Henry Lewis Cemetery in Hyden. Local visitation will be held Octo! ber 23, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. and will be followed by funeral services at 8pm with Rev. Donnie Buttree officiating. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
