July 1892 in Roane Co., TN. He was in Perry County, KY in the 1920 & 1930 Perry Co., KY Census, as listed below. His father was General Johnson, and his mother was Louisa/Eliza/Lizzie Oody (she had been listed by all three). All I have been able to find in Kentucky for him, is what is in the census. I did find articles in the Rockwood Times, at the Roane Co. Herritage Society Library, concerning the death of two of his children and the death of his first wife. Unfortunately, it did not mention the names of any of them. I am putting together a book on the Oody family, and Grover is one of the few remaining descendants, that I need info on. I do not have the maiden names of either of his wives, nor the marriage dates. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Especially, if I could locate any living family members.
