Oneida Babtist Institute in Oneida (Clay Co.) Ky, was started in 1899 by James Anderson Burns,known in his day as Burns of the Mountains. He was born and raised in the area of Calhoun, Roane, and Clay Counties in West Virginia. The school is attempting to compile a cookbook with all profit going to the student aid fund, which helps students that need help paying their tuition.
