JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON THELMA GIBSON FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 12/16/07 Thelma Howard Gibson, Age 85, a resident of the Hawthorn Glen Retirement Center, passed away December 14, 2007. She was born in Perry County, KY, August 21, 1922, the daughter of Larkin and Molly (Lewis) Howard. She was a longtime member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Gibson loved camping and fishing, going to the Senior Citizens, and attending church. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Price Gibson; two daughters, Judy (Wil, Sr.) Caldwell, and Donna Haney; two sons, Price (Gerri) Gibson, Jr., and Harold (Kim) Gibson; eight grandchildren, Wil, Jr., Amy, Wendy, Denise, Travis, Donnie, Rachel, and Molly; and eight great-grandchildren, Thelma Megan, Zack, Taylor, Halley, Emily, Clay, Eric, and Jake. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel, Ruby, and Kathleen; and four brothers, Worley, Fred, Bill, and Haskel. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on December 18, at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Chad Slifer. Visit! ation will be held two hours prior to the services.
