JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON PAULA ROWLANDS FROM THE HAMILTON (OH) JOURNAL-NEWS 12/29/07 Paula R. Colwell Rowlands, age 80 of Hamilton, OH passed away in Fort Hamilton Hospital on December 27, 2007. She was born in Perry County, KY on September 16, 1927, the daughter of Hobart and Cassie (Combs) Colwell. Paula was a 1945 graduate of Hamilton High School and was employed as a Branch Claim Clerk for Ohio Casualty Insurance Company for twenty-five years retiring in 1983. On October 16, 1978, in Hamilton, she was married to Powell Rowlands. She is survived by her husband, Powell Rowlands of Hamilton, OH; one daughter; Rayma Snodgrass of Hamilton, OH; one granddaughter, Toni (Bill) Gebhart of Oxford, OH; two devoted great-grandchildren, Colton and Cassidy Gebhart. She is also survived by two step-sons; Hub (Jane) Rowlands and Dan (Lisa) Rowlands both of Hamilton; three step-grandchildren, Shawna (Chris) Halsey of Trenton, OH, Danielle (Dino) Alcorn of Liberty, IN and Jeff Burress of Hamilton; a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Casler of Lexington, KY. She was preceded in de! ath by her parents; one son-in-law, Phil Snodgrass in 2007; one brother, Ray Colwell and a step-daughter, Stephanie Bowling. Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. on January 2, 2008 at 10AM with Rev. Larry Davis, Pastor of the Hamilton Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on from 9AM to 10AM.
