Mr. Combs was born on April 18, 1929 in Dorfork, KY, to Letcher and Polly (Smith) Combs. He was an Army Veteran of W.W. II. He was employed by The Cleveland Plain Dealer Newspaper for 35 years. Mr. Combs was a 20 year member of the Cleveland Typographical Union and served as president for 12 years. He is survived by his daughter, Renee Fors-berg and son-in-law, Dave; granddaughter Nicole, and grandson, Daniel, all of Lee's Summit, MO.
