Burton, age 53, of Middletown, OH passed away December 21, 2007 at Middletown Regional Hospital where he had been a patient for 2 days. He was born October 30, 1954 in Hazard, KY, but lived in Middletown most of his life. He graduated from Madison High School in 1972. He was preceded in death by parents: John and Dallas (Burge) Burton; 1 brother: John Burton. He is survived by 3 sons: Jimmy Burton, Middletown, OH, Ricky Burton. Middletown, Chris Burton, Middletown; 1 daughter: Maggie Garitson, husband Jimmy, Trenton, OH; 4 granddaughters: Emerie, Samantha, Ashley, Kaitlin; 1 brother: Bill Burton; 3 sisters: Sue Hampton, Pat Hollon, Jean Jordan; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be December 28, 2007 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be December 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Randy Wallace officiating. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery, Monroe, OH.
